I had been on the depo shot since January 2010 until March 2011. My doc told me it takes at least 2 months for it to officially wear off completely. My suggestion would be to take a home test and if you still aren't sure to take a blood test. I am trying to have another child and am still waiting for my position test.

Depo causes changes to your cervix (because it changes your hormone levels) and that can cause some bleeding during/after intercourse because the cervix is more sensitive.

Hi I see your on depo and I have a question I got the same shot 3 months ago and I know this is personal but do you bleed after sex? Because I do but I never did before I got this shot I was wondering I I'm the only one who is experiencing this?

You ovulate 14 days before your period, so yes, you can get pregnant before you have a period. You can test as early as 14 days after sex with an early detection pregnancy test using first morning urine.
