Hi,
How are you? As mentioned from the other post, it is important that you check with your doctor and to have the blood tests done to rule out possible causes of your prolonged menstruation. Hormone changes, gynecological conditions, medication side effect as well as your  personal history of thalassemia may need to be checked. Take care and do keep us posted.
