should i have my nuvaring in while using vaginal cream

My doctor just pescribed me clindamycin phosphate vaginal cream for VD and I was wondering Should I take my nuvaring out while using this cream? Also when should I put it back in. and if i have to take it out and i start bleeding is it okay to still use the cream? Im also on the nuvaring continuesly so that dont have peroids i just change my nuvaring every 21 days..i have been on this for about 5 months
