sore breasts on yasmine!

I've been on yasmine now for about 9 months.  Very shortly after starting it my breasts went up a good cup size, and I noticed increased tenderness occassionally.  For the past week, I my breasts have been SOOO sore!  And my nipples are killing me!  I was bra shopping yesterday and by the time I took the fifth one off my breasts were in so much pain it was really weird (not to mention that I was overflowing a little from my usual size now...).  I know there are multiple causes for this, but I am just a little concerned.  I take yasmine consistantly, and don't usually get pms like symptoms.  I doubt pregnancy is an option; I take my pill very regularly, and my bf and I have only had sex without a condom twice.  I also was at the doctor for other reasons (I have endo and pelvic floor dysfunction, so I had an appointment related to that) and didn't really consider pregnancy.  Anyone know why this could happen?

The various causes of breast soreness are premenstrual syndrome, hormone therapy, pregnancy and breast feeding, fibrocystic disease, use of oral contraceptives and rarely a breast malignancy. Please consult a gynecologist and discuss these possibilities.

In absence of pregnancy, it can be due to hormonal imbalance and should improve with time. Apply warm compresses and take some anti inflammatory pain killers. If it persists then get it evaluated from a gynecologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. i dont know what could be causing your issues but i do know that there was a recall on yasmin a few months ago and its always on tv that if you have taken it to call a lawyer. good luck
