what does this sound like?

I have been off the depo since the begining of August. It is now November... In September i had a period (kinda light) then 28 days later i had a more normal period (heavier but that's normal). So i thought i was regular plus i was taking herbal sups for that. Then about ten days later i get my period. I took a pregnancy test but it doesn't show anything as far as it being positive. I think maybe it was to early to test. Has anyone had this problem...? My period is light and has started with the brownish discharge..

Hello,
When pregnancy occurs, cessation of menses occurs. So if you had your periods then chances of pregnancy are very low. However to erase any doubts, I would suggest you to get your serum HCG levels estimated since this is more specific than urine for pregnancy tests. The HCG (it is a hormone) levels rise only in pregnancy and its presence will confirm the status of your pregnancy.

I hope it helps. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
