will i get pregnant in the future if i take Birth control pills again??

I really really wanna ask if will I get pregnant in the future if I take birth control again?

Here's my history. I'm 18 years old, and I went to OB, last 5months ago, i think that was around june. I went there because of the irregularity of my menstruation. So, she said that i'm irregular because of hormonal imbalance so she gave a pills. Which is birth control. I took it fpr 3 months then i stuopped taking it thinking that i am already regular but then i was wrong, because from september up until now, didn't have my menstruation and i didn't have a sexual intercourse so i dont bother that i am pregnant. Now, i am planning to take birth control again in order to ha e a regular cycle of menstruation. But i waswonderin that will i get pregnant if i want to in the future? Pls answer. Thanks

Of course it's safe. There's no reason not to take them if your period is irregular. You should stay on them until you are ready to try to get pregnant for it to keep your cycles regular because if you stop again they will go back to being irregular.

Using bc pills does not affect your future ability to get pregnant. All that can happen is that you may have a delay in getting back on a regular ovulation schedule after quitting the pill.
