Do I have permanent damage on eye bone from fall?

I tripped and fell head first into my kitchen cabinet.  Oh boy did that smart.  Not a smart thing to do though.  It caused 2 lumps and bruising.  I iced it for several days and the swelling went down.  I had a black eye, but it has healed.  I broke an eye vessel too, but that is looking better with time as well.  I am pretty much back to normal.  Except the eye bone is still very sensitive and still a bit swollen, and it is very sensitive.  When I touch, wash, or apply makeup to the area, it feels strange.  Kind of like there is cotton inside, if that makes sense?  Is this something permanent or will it heal with time?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Since there is swelling and tenderness—it can either be a blood clot outside in soft tissue-or it can be a blood clot is a blood vessel. It can also be a hairline fracture. Since it has persisted for so long, consult a doctor, and get this examined. You may need an X-ray to rule out fracture. A blood clot in soft tissue will get absorbed with time. If it’s a blood clot in blood vessel then this would need treatment. Take care!
