My husband was diagnosed during a cerebral angiogram. He was being treated for an aneurysm.

Hi!
No, single test is 100% accurate in diagnosis of fibromuscular dysplasia. Doctors diagnose the condition by ruling out atherosclerosis and looking for certain typical imaging signs through CT-angiogram, angiography, color dopplar, and MRI.
