Hands tingle

Lately, not often, I woke up at night during sleep and have my hands tingle.Since its unpleasant sensation, I  move them thinking I was positioned badly and have lesser blood on extremities-hands but to no success, i still have that feeling. Any answer why this might happen, I'm 43 years old male, working on written translation on documents with typing,my blood pressure is 130-90 for which I take medicine and have no other health problem, except sometimes sleep disorders due to stress on work for which I also take medicine.

Hello,
Since your job involves typing, so the first possibility is of any nerve compression caused by repetitive actions like typing. It may be due to carpal tunnel syndrome. The carpal tunnel (at your wrist through which the median nerve passes) changes its size depending on the position of the wrist. It’s widest when wrist and hand are straight in line. When the hand is bent up or down, the tunnel becomes slightly smaller. This then presses on the nerve which then causes a pain and tingling sensation.

Application of ice pack, anti-inflammatory drugs, wearing wrist braces, stretching and strengthening exercises when the pain subsides and modification of the way you type goes a long way in avoiding further injury and treating the present symptoms. If the symptoms persist then get an evaluation done by a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
