Pins & needles left arm

I get pins and needles in my left arm everyday, it started at the wrist and over 12 months it has spread up my arm. Ive had 2 X ECK, 2 x rays and bloods in ER and my doctor order some and everything is coming back normal.

What could be causing this? I do have neck stiffness everyday and finding it increasingly hard to raise my shoulder.

Doctors have said it isn't heart related as it would of happened by now.....I have no idea what's causing this

I'm 21 and no family history of heart related ilness.

I do admit I suffer intense anxiety problems on a day-to-day basis. My anxiety on a scale of 1 (being the lowest) and 10 (being the highest, I would say mine is 10. But I feel these symptoms are NOT anxiety related as when my doctor touched my chest wall, the pain was so server that I was almost in tears with it. The pins and needles are random, but they do not feel like your typical "pins and needles" I.E...in comparrision to pins and needles felt in the leg area resulting in pain & numbness. My ones started in the lower arm then gradually over a 7 month period came up the arm. I have had a rach of blood tests and my chlorestoral test came back with an amazing result as did the rest of the tests. I am only 21 but the amount of health problems I have is getting beyond the joke now & even doctors are saying I have too many symptoms for my age. As I have mentioned I have had 2 X ECG, 3 X X-rays and 6 sets of bloods (different times - some at ER, some at medical centre) and everything is normal. I do suffer huge amounts of stress in my relationship as my partner has a ex wife who causes arguments everyday. On a stress test, based on my answers, I scored 40/50....symptoms including: high anxiety levels, depression, aches and pains, hair loss, mind ocd etc. I do sometimes ask myself is stress the answer to everything?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
I am sorry to hear about your medical problems. Since you have neck stiffness and problems raising your arm, the pins and tingling is probably due to a pinched nerve either in the neck or at the shoulder. A MRI of the cervical spine or a nerve conduction study should be done. Generally physiotherapy along with pain medications and muscle relaxers should help. Please consult your doctor regarding this. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
