I've never seen the HB abbreviation for hemoglobin but the numbers look right.

I think range you show looks right and the HB is trending high too... again I think that isn't a problem... but may indicate something you doctor can advise on.  hemoglobin is a measure of the bloods ability to carry oxygen to the muscles, so again a little high shouldn't be anything more than "better than average".

I feel the same way about the cholesterol numbers. In my case the HDL is higher than normal (the good element) and the LDL is normal, thus the ration HDL/LDL is above range.  I think this is all good and my doctor has never said there is anything wrong, but my numbers are out of the normal range.

Thanks for response.

I didn't know if haemoglobin is abbreviated on my printout and I didn't know if they were relevant, sorry I didn't include them. I've seen HB on some of my printouts, is that Haemoglobin?

Nov 2011

HB 14.2g/dL (12-15)

Feb 2012

HB 15.2g/dL (12-15)

May 2013

Haemoglobin estimation (?) 153 g/L (120-150)

Aug 2013

Haemoglobin estimation 141 g/L (120-150)

May 2014

Haemoglobin estimation 139 g/L (120-150)

Health symptoms that I have relating to high RBC count:

- Blurred vision/double vision
- Headaches
- Itchy skin
- Muscle pain
- Dizziness
- Reynaud's phenomenon
- High blood pressure, sometimes
- Tinnitus

Ferritin is low, too. I can include the numbers of that if required.

I don't see anything to worry about regarding the RBC count.  You are only slightly over the "average" range.  Not an expert here, but more is better than less in my opinion.

I know nothing about the other numbers.. how about hemoglobin?

Do you have any health symptoms that you can relate to possible blood cell count?   I'd do a search on high RBC count.
