I just came across this test, myself from Medscape while researching my Common Variable Immunodeficiency & it,along with serum electrophoresis is theirin recommended at regular interval to screen for lymphoma since CVIDS increases the likelihood of it & also gastric carcinoma. How did your testing come out,if I may ask? Hope was all negative.

Hi!
Lymphocyte surface markers are specific proteins on this variety of white blood cell of either immunoglobulin or CD type which show altered expression in certain diseases such as autoimmune thyroid disorders and leukemias. They may be expressed in other autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis but are less tested for this. Take care!
