ditto - any cut that doesnt stop bleeding within 10 minutes (20 for smallish ones) needs to be brought to the attention of your Doc or Hemo.  It could indicate that your levels are off and need adjusting.  Call your doctor ASAP.

Hi!
If you are on warfarin and a cut lip is bleeding continuously, then inform your doctor immediately. You may need some dose adjustment. Also, put some ice pack on the cut and apply some pressure. This can help the blood to clot at the cut. Avoid undue chewing and take semisolid or liquid diet. As soon as you feel the bleed apply pressure. Call your doctor immediately. You will need to get bleeding, clotting and prothrombin time done to reset your warfarin dose. Take care!
