renal stenois

Why would a MRI show a 60% blockage in my left renal artery. Then  have nothing show up on a cath ,which was done through the groin area.  I also felled a tredmill stress test.  They stopped it before 2 1/2 min. due to blood pressure going up to fast  190/118.   Cardiologist chedked both the heart and kidney and found nothing.  I am also dealing with a blood clot behind my right eye.  Right now I am getting shots every 6 wks, in the eye. cartoid duplex scan showed  mild blockage in the neck and was told not to worry about this for now.  Can all these things be related?

Hi!
An angiography will be more diagnostic than than a MRI for a blood vessel clot. Also clots can be mobile—ie they may move from one place to another. This mobile clot is very dangerous as it can lodge in lung, brain, and heart.
Yes, so all this can be connected. You need to get examined for precursors of clots like diabetes, dyslipidemia, thyroid disorders, high blood pressure, hyperviscosity syndromes where the blood is thick (eg: leukemias, polycythemia, and the myeloproliferative disorders) etc.
Since I cannot examine you and know other related conditions you may be having, nor is a detailed history possible on net, I have listed the various possibilities that should be looked into. Please consult your cardiologist for primary examination followed by proper tests and treatment. Take care!
