Jammed Finger

My friend twisted my finger back and it popped. It became slightly swollen only a minute aftewards. Its been swollen for a week now. The joint area is swollen and im worried about it cause im a pianist. It hurts if i press the joint area or 2nd joint next to tip of finger. Also it has 2 small lumps on the sides and they feel like bone. the side of the joint is twice as big as my other middle fingers joint. The swelling hasnt gone down. Does anyone know what this is and how long it will take to get better? Do I have to see a doctor?
