When i was 15 years old my knee did shift out.(The round thng by the knee.)They never put hard plaster over.Ever since it keeps on doing it and I have to shift it back again to make it right. Is it normal that the knee shift out?what can be the course of it?
In a normal knee, the kneecap fits nicely in the groove. If the groove is uneven or too shallow, the kneecap could slide off, resulting in a partial or complete dislocation. I think you should be seeing an orthopaedician.A physical examination and X-rays may be helpful. Your doctor can decide what treatment is most suitable for you. Do write to me again.
Best wishes and regards!
