How do you find time in your busy lives to discipline yourself to read?

I find it very hard to sit still.  Oh well.  Maybe just me?

I am also all or nothing.  When I start a book, the housework is left behind, and the newspaper, which I usually read cover to cover, gets neglected.

I usually carry a book with me everywhere just in case I have a chance to read...

I've tried reading in the bath tub but I'm usually afraid I'll drop the book! lol

The only time I seem to find to read is when I am in the bath. :) I always have a stack of books next to the tub.

I find any time possible.  I carry books with me when I go out, so any waiting, I can read a paragraph or two.  I used to have to read through as much as I could, but now that isn't realistic.

I LOVE reading! I usually try to find time before bed and any extra time in the morning. I got in trouble a couple times last year for reading in class. Kinda pointless to just sit there and do nothing while everyone is talking. Now that I'm in high school I don't have lots of time to actually sit down and read a book so over fall break I'm going to attempt to read one or two books.

I was brought up by a Mom who read a lot, came from a long line of teachers on her side,also TVs were something we watched sometimes not all the time .. I did listen to a lot of radio, I am strange about reading..or am I so strange, I get into a good book, I cant put it down , its like I am driven to finish it, I have actually been known to read whilst cooking, then I may go weeks without reading, like its all or nothing, you know I have concluded my life seems to have gone down that path..all or nothing.LOL am I making any sense .

i've always been a reader. i was reading novels by time i was in 3rd grade (needless to say my favorite classes in school were english and lit). i read anytime during the day. usually it's picture books to the kids. (thank god i have most of them memorized b/c they love grabbing the books off of me) but at night or when they're napping i find time for mommy's books (or the book mommy's writing).
