Antch is Little Reason

Antch is Little Reason

Lately I have been feeling alot of anger for no real reason. I seem to be getting really angry at my friends for any little reason. It seems to be anyone that I'm close to in general. Like today I called a friend of mine and he didn't call me back so I just got so angry. Started thinking of all the things I could say to hurt his feelings and how he's really not one of my friends witch is really stupid because he and I have been friends for a long  time now and he has been helping me with all of my  problems. I start really thinking of any little person that doesn't do what I want as my enemy and not only think of ways to hurt them emotionally but, physically. I take a lot of medication to help with my depression and anxiety that come along with everything else but, I seem to have alot of trouble with the anger and all or nothing side of everything, Can anyone else out there relate?

Yes.  I think it can be upsetting when things are different to how we would like or want things.
I have my moments.  I can get frustrated when driving (and there are slow road users or people cut me off or don't indicate) or when I'm shopping (and people, especially old people, are either way slow or leave their trolley across the whole aisle).  Sometimes I can be the world's most intolerant and inpatient person.

You didn't JUST get angry.  You got angry because he didn't phone back.  Often this is because we feel rejected or abandoned, etc.  Sometimes even criticized.  We can be extremely sensitive to rejection and criticism.  This is usually because of something that has happened in our past.  I think this is quite a common theme in bpd.

I would try and identify other stressors in your life and see if you can reduce those.

I once felt betrayed by my doctor so ended up thinking of ways to hurt him.

Are you in therapy?
