going to therapy and seeing a psychiatrist

i have a question though, if i signed a paper that states that my husband has rights, that i had signed when i was being admitted to the psych ward, does that mean i dont have rights in my everyday living? (i am bipolar *2*, borderline personality disorder, and dependent personality disorder) i'm not talking of everyday living like cooking or cleaning, i'm talking like technical/legal rights.

It shouldn't do.  Worse case you should be able to argue that because it was signed when you were unwell it's not legally binding.
You still have your basic human rights, etc.

Not sure what you signed.  It sounds like it should have just covered making treatment decisions when in hospital or maybe even extended to decisions when in a decompensated state.

You may like to revisit what it was you signed just for clarification.

There should be a copy in your medical records.  They should have given you a copy too, maybe??  Not sure.

It sounds like something is bothering you.  I hope you can sort that out.  Could you ask your husband?  Is that an option?

I hope you can clear all this up as it sounds as if it could be creating some stress and anxiety in your life.  Neither is good for good health.

Take care and good luck for finding your answer.
