I should think that anyone suffering from this condition would have problems that would be obvious to others. In other words, those around you would know something was wrong. And this would communicate itself to you. Does this sound familiar?
The only way you will know is when you get a proper assessment done.
Borderline Personality Disorder is a very complex personality disorder often times linked with other personality disorders, with many, many criteria that need to be matched and for this reason you would have to score very high in order to be diagnosed as it, or else everyone and their dog would be calling themselves BPD (because it's a disorder that covers the entire spectrum of mental illnesses) just because you read something online doesn't mean and it fits, it doesn't mean you have BPD.
