why am i obsessed

why have I become so obsessed on my friend, I call about 50 times a day email  and text.I am under alot of stress and fell very unstable in my life

I have done the same but to my boyfriend and sumtimes i dont even have anything to say but i call.. o and i did that to my bestfriend..mayb you should find other things to distract you so you wont obsesse on them so much???Like play a game of tetrus or sumthing you like..

what i did with my best friend  is a set a limit of how many times i would call them a day that included email and text if i wanted to call but didn't want to use one of my 5 times i would write everything i could think of saying to him them i put it away and found something else to do tetris is a great game to distract

I wish I had some advice for this. Truth is, I have the same problem, although mine is with my bf. I've never been this way with a friend. I do, however, tend to get really jealous if I hear that some of my friends got together and I wasn't asked instead. I feel like I'm left out or something. I get so bothered by it, but I don't let them know that. I really have to hide my BPD from everybody except those I'm really close to like my bf and family. And not all my family even knows. Just my parents and a couple of my sisters.

But I do believe that the best thing to do is distract urself with something. I know it can be very hard at times, but when my bf is gone and I'm getting all anxious inside, I just play my xbox 360. It usually gets my mind off him pretty quick and next thing I know he's walking through the door and I'm telling him to get out of my way of the tv. lol.
