Electrical Charge

I get a mild electrical charge sensation in my forearms when exerting those muscles.  Any idea what could be causing this?  Didn't notice it until about 5-6 years ago.  Doesn't cause me any real problems other then I can't exert those muscles to their fullest extent given the discomfort.  Thanks.
