Hello doctor, i have been a very active member in the pituitary tumor non expert forum for quite some time now. I have noticed symptoms that started at arounf the age of 16. 1.5 years ago i went to my neurologist with a self diagnosis of a pit tumor, and demanded an mri. He set me up with one and  i had a 2mm microadenoma, which i, and my primary(thank god) believe is causing my symptoms. fast forward to now. I am 21 , and went for a follow up mri on a 3 tesla machine. the radiologists told me there was no tumor. I asked the neuro endo who did my testing(which btw showed high cortisol)...and she said she saw an abnormal area.....when i asked the radiologist..he said that he spoke to her and she didnt. needless to say she's impossible to reach.


anyway i have the disk, and i'd LOVE for you to PLEASE look at my mri.....however  idk how to send them to you?
it's very important that i have an accurate mri finding, because im trying to get into NIH!!!

btw, what is YOUR opinion on small adenomas...everyone's differs. i've been told its like a pimple in the ***...doesnt cause problems.....although these doctors should live one day with the issues i have ha.. another thing is, my visual field test was normal, but i do feel i have blurred and obstructed peripheral vision. however sometimes during the day, my vision is fine then itll blur if  i move my head weird

Small adenomas should only be removed if they are causing symptoms related to hormonal changes.

hi doc i think u misunderstood the last question. i was asking if you wanted both cds. i am going to send you both cds,and my hormone profile. also ill include the mri report fro mthe first disk/ my cortisol and vreatinine were out of range,my hemoglobin/hematocrit have ALWAYS been out of range,and nobody knows why.

also i had a visual field test thart came back normal, however it seems one sec im ok, then my vision will get blurry, and i ALWAYS wake up with blurry vision...im typing this now with blurry vision(just woke up at 2:30 pm)

I guess the main reason i want you to look at it, is to tell me if the small adenoma really does exist. I am convinced that it is causing my symptoms, even though plenty of doctors have told me it isnt...only thing is that now the radiologist says he doesn't see it.

i have two mris as stated in op. one from 09 of march and one from sep of 2010, do you want both to look at ?

also, i only have one copy of the hormone profile, but  iwill include that too. my cortisol, and creatinine were out of range, but everything else was ok. i am 6'2 178 pounds, and have struggled with gaining weight forever!!! also cant build muscle or strength despite YEARS of powerlfiting.

iive heard you can have cushings and not be heavy though?

ust curious how long after  isend them, will u review them and get back to me? i really aprpreciate this, and am o thankful you are doing this for the members, im jsut asing because  i wanted to make an appointment with my primary to talk about my next step with getting me into the nih program, but iwanted to wait until after you had reviewed my films to see if the tumor is still present. thanks.

ok thaks. I definitely have clinical symptoms that is for sure, which is why i havent given up on finding my problems for all this time.
