MRI results??

In January, my daughter had a seizure, never had seizures before, relatively healthy 13 yr old. A CT scan reported a possible neuroepithelial cyst.

In February, an MRI with and without contrast was done. The report states " A 5mm perivascular space incidentally in the left temporal lobe stem."

What does that mean??

Dear Mom21369,

perivascular space means that she has a normal dilation of fluid space. Those are normal and we all have. sometimes can be a little dilated and can be seeing in a MRI.
