MRI vs Ct scan on head
what can u detect in an MRI that a CT scan might not show?

CT is good to see calcifications and bone. It does not have great resolution on soft tissue. MRI see water very well, so soft tissue is better seen by MRI than CT.
There are some brain tumors that are not seen at all by head CTs.
