Meningioma question

I have just been diagnosed by MRI with 7mm meningioma. The MRI says a 7mm meningioma arising from the anterior aspect of the right middle cranial fossa. I have constant ear ringing that never goes away in my right ear and numbness in my face once in a while. Is this something that would generally be treated or left alone given the location and size of the meningioma?

Dear Chelsea77,

It really depends on the location of the meningioma. A 7 mm can be big if it is growing next to the optic nerves. But is consider small if it is growing around the skull convexity. I will be glad to review the MRI free of charge:

That sounds pretty big.  All depends on where you live, but Mayo clinic is my choice.  I'm due for my second resection next month.
