Multiple "soft spots" on head

I'm hoping to get some answers. I noticed two small indentations (similar to an infant's soft spot) on the top of my head. My husband believed that it may be caused from me resting my sunglasses there. I agreed and started placing them in a case instead and not giving it much more thought. They haven't gone away. This was less than a month ago. Then I started noticing more. I now (as of today) have 7 spots. They range from the size of my finger tip (not sure how deep, but noticeably deep) to two-three finger tips wide (and deeper than the others). When pressing on them I feel pain.  Sometimes it's a sharp almost numbing pain and other times it is throbbing pressure.  I have also had frequent headaches with more painful ones on one side (left). Sometimes with dizziness (seeing spots, ringing in ear or ears, feeling HOT, unbalanced) and nausea (no vomiting). As well as problems with sleep (not falling asleep until 3:30 am is the new normal, I get up at 6:30-7am), memory (just one example- not remembering my age when asked. I had to turn it into a joke to not be embarrassed. By the way I am 31), and concentration ("zoning out" and not even realizing that someone is talking to me, taking longer to do every day things). I don't have health insurance and unable to pay out of pocket.  I'm hoping that by posting here, maybe I can get some kind of answer before a trip to the E.R. where I may not get one.

Dear Birmingham82,

Absolutely, you should see your family doctor as soon as possible. So he or she can examine you and order the proper tests. We cannot guess diagnoses through the internet.

An ER is great for emergencies, but not for diagnosis. Please go see your doctor who can rule out most common things, and then send you on to the proper specialist.

I agree with Shannon.

I think it's best to go see your doctor.
