Hello,  here is your answer to the question of what is a venous angioma, but I am still researching the second aneurysm and attempting to break the explanation down so it is easier to understand.  I'll post it when I get it broken down.  Let me know if you have any questions on the first part.  Perhaps others will post as well, and explain them somewhat differently to give you a couple of explanations.

A venous angioma also called  venous malformation or venous developmental anomaly is benign (meaning non-cancerous) tumor and is an extreme variation of structurally abnormal lymphatic and blood vessels(overgrowth of "normal" blood vessels in the skin)- draining normal brain tissue into a particular region and blood from the brain.
The way the veins are arranged looks like the snake-covered head of the mythical creature killed by Perseus they are called "caput medusa."   The veins arrangement makes surgery difficult.

The causes are unknown but it is suggested that they are non hereditary, congential-(the person is born with them) they didn't just form throughout life, they generally form alone.  Although, some are seen with vascular malformations like cavernous hemangiomas-(benign cells that form in erratic cluster of  growths of blood vessels that are then fed by many arteries, or spider, cherry and senile angiomas.

Possible symptoms include- the earliest one usually seen is -difficulty sleeping/insomnia,  bleeding, headache in severe cases, tiredness/lazy feeling, nausea, vomiting, and weakness in arms and legs.

Treatment consists of: Stereotactic radio surgery-radiations are applied to the lesion itself without disrupting the brain tissue around the area, but will only be used if a rupture of the area or uncontrolled bleeding is present. Medication especially anti convulsive drugs such as  Phenytoin (Dilantin) or other drugs in that category  may be tried, as well.
