Does anyone have any info on OnyxHD500 as an option to treat aneurysms?

The short answer would describe it as similar to having a angiogram where by a cather is threaded to the brain blood vessels to where a aneyrusm (unruptured) is located.  A glue like substance containing partial metal particulates are injected.  The glue solidifies and the aneurysm is sealed, hopefully permanently.  It is relatively new so it's track record is not fully understood.  It hoped that it would be a better protocol then other procedures such as clipping, stenting, or coiling.  Each has its pros and cons.  Hope this helps.
