My 9 year old daughter was just diagnosed with a cyst near her pituitary gland. MY greatest concern is that 6 years ago she also had a cerebellar pilocytic astrocytoma removed. Her doctor seems to act like this cyst is no big deal but I think there may be a connection to her tumor 6 years ago and now a cyst. She has regular MRI's and it never showed up before yesterday. Is there a need for concern?
