Brain Fizzing

by Johanna475, Nov 08, 2009 05:34PM
Hi, Ive been having these brain fizzing noise for about a year now, I was lucky enough to have my boyfriend hear them, Because at one point i thought i was going insane..

I will tell you a little bit about my health history, I Have Pcos, and my periods have started to come back, due to eating healthy and exersise.

But i have had alot of stress this year, My Husband and i went through a divorce, and i then moved to a new address and got very stressed out with nosiey neighbours, and then i moved again, and my cat died..

I have been to my doctor, I went with jaw pain that was on the left side of my head, It lasted for about 9 months, and then i sorta had a pain in the temple, And thats when the fizzing started.
Its not constant, But because i suffer from dizzy spells due to having pcos, I do notice it alot... It happens in the morning as i wake up..
My doctor thinks its due to stress, But i find them very un-reliable where i live..

I was just wondering if you thought it was stress. or anything else serious,? Because i could always change doctors and get a second opion.

Go to an ENT and get evaluated there. I think you may find more help there and maybe and ENT may get you the guidance you need.

If it happens in the morning - you may be grinding - have TMJ or a nerve issue.

It sounds a lot like a TMJ issue, particularly because of the stress and jaw pain- you might seek a dentist who specializes or a maxillofacial specialist who does splints to see if that is right for you.   You might request an ESR blood test just in case.
