Brain tumour

Hi i have been attending an ent doctor and the last visit was on wednesday and now he is sending me for a scan to see if anything else is going on. I am not sure if this is the right forum but I have been having bad sinitus since feb 08 and now my ear feels blocked, hot and this strange feeling in my head its like when you get a shiver in your body it is in my head and pressure no pain though but a feeling that something is behind my left eye and its always been the left ear and left side of head on top and back pressure. I am scared of the scan and what could this be. I am on lexapro for anxiety as this is what is making me anxious and I have to have something to get me through this. Any helpful answers would be most appreciated.

I just got a call from a friend of mine who advised me to try some relaxation methods to alleviate any anxiety.  Deep breathing in and out and try to focus your concentration on your body, slowly working from the feet to the head in that you tell yourself to relax, be calm, and command your thoughts to send this relaxation through your body.  Anxiety causes more harm and if you can try to calm yourself by talking to your own body, the anxiety will slowly leave and you will feel a calmness surround you.  I have tried this and it works but you must really try hard to communicate with yourself to reach the relaxation mode that your body now needs.  Hope this helps you too!
