CHANGE TO MRI

...increased
periventricular white matter... which could be related to vasculitis, small
vessel disease, amongst other etiologies.  The high T2 signal intensity
could be related to Alzheimers or dementia...microangiopathic disease (small
blood vessels) and demyelination (central nervous system).

The above is part of the latest MRI report.  My sister is to have another MRI next month.  Her ovarian cancer metasticized to her brain.  The tumor was removed and it was followed by WBR.  Her neurosurgeon is on vacation, and we are having such difficulty functioning.  She asked me if I would have had WBR done.  How do you answer that?  Can you tell us anything?  Thank you so much.
