Does anyone know about Osteoma's?

Im 23 and I guess I guess I noticed the lump around the time I got pregnant a couple years ago but seems to have grown and is becoming kind of painful to the touch. It's not round or dome shaped but more oval and flatish. I saw a P.A and she said she didn't think it was a tumor but I'm not to sure. I haven't had an mri yet and can't get one until I have insurance. I'm very scared that it could be a osteoma that might be warring on my skull. Has anyone ever experienced this before?

If the doctor thought it was an osteoma, don't you think she would send you ASAP? Odds are it is more benign and a lipoma. They can be quite sore. Let us know after tests.
