Headaches

Hi, my name is Ric and i'm 23 years old.. Over the past 3-5 months i've been experiencing very uncomfortable and painful headaches. There's no specific area on my head as i get throbbing pains at the side, top and back of my head, and also around my eyes. I did used to suffer from migraines but this is a completely different and unsettling experience i'm going through. I have them everyday and painkillers do not help one bit.. sometimes the throbbing esculates when bent down, for example tying my laces etc. I am getting quite concerned about it because around 9 years ago my Mum was diagnosed with having a brain tumor which resulted in her having a thankfully successful operation, and it would be very much appreciated for any comments or advice anyone could kindly give to me. Thank you

Well, I hope it does not worry her by asking... to know her medical history helps with yours. My dad had one as well.
Headaches are a very non-specific symptom and can be caused by so many things so it can take a while to track down the cause. Tension to sinus to hormones etc etc. on up can cause them. Until you know you the cause, you cannot really make them go away, but the good news is that it does not have to be a tumor necessarily.

I'm not sure what tumor it was and i dont want to worry her by asking, but i will try and find out. i did go to the doctors a while ago but my headaches wasn't nearly as bad as they have been in the past month, and all they suggested was to take painkillers which haven't helped.. I'm going doctors again tomorrow and i've got an eye test next Monday. Thanks for replying i really appreciate it.

Do you know what kind of tumor your mom had?
Have you seen a doctor over this, and were you dismissed? Were you examined - any scans taken?
Did you at least get an eye exam or an ear exam? Those can show issues - even tumors- during those exams.
