L frontal lobe cyst? symptomatic/ cont to monitor?

My 52 yr old husband became symptomatic June 08 during vacation, he could not remember my name, Knew that we were "somehow" together but did not know why. He had a severe left temporal head pain lasted about 2 hours the slowly got better aterward he was exhausted for about a week. I say that he has not been the same since, markedly so after this event. MRI 7-08 revealed a multilocular tumor left frontal lobe adjacent to ventricle measures 8X14mm. Cinci's Mayo clinic treating as cyst, repeat MRI 10-08; no change. My question is that he appears to be having increasingly worrisome symptoms  He is severely depressed and in counseling now, he seems very distant and aloof. He has had two episodes of uncontrollable crying for no apparent reason. He has become apathetic, just shared that he is having loud constant ringing in both ears every morning for last 4 mos, today it has not stopped. He is having right eyelid twitching. He takes long pauses between words and seems to have dif. finishing thoughts and finding words. He is normally extremely articulate. He has not had any major personality changes where I could say for 100% certainty that it is r/t tumor. He is dismissing symptoms I am worried. Appt with Neuro in 1mos and repeat MRI.
Can it really wait the month? At what point do you take it out even if there is no change to suspected cyst? I just want my husband back and I fear waiting until it is too late. Neuro says it is tricky a little but completely operable as of last MRI.
BEGGING DOCTOR to respond, especially as to whether symptoms are worrisome.

Nice to know Cincy has one of the best neuro-centers.  I too live in this area.  I don't know that that is the kindof Dr. I'd see though for a pituitary tumor. :-(

Best of luck with your husband, you must be very afraid.  I think his symptoms warrent a more hasty visit to the Dr. than 1 month away!

I am so sorry to hear about your husband. I am glad they are going to do the MRI earlier. A friend of mine lives in that area.

Yes we can get copies and have copies of the first MRI, Cinicinnati is supposed to have one {like top 5} of the best Neuro Centers in the World and it is in our backyard. Every MRI and case file is reviewed by the entire neuro team, Radiologist, Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Neuro nurses, the whole entire team every pt every time. We feel as confident as one can feel with who we have, I am just so concerned and seeking reassurance and or validation of my concern about his symptoms. Tonight he said he is still haing the ringing and is exhausted, it is 8pm and he just went to bed, he said he is so sorry but he just can't keep his eyes open. I asked him earlier to recall his day a little in therapy and cued him even with questions, he gives generalized answers and says he just can't remember he just cannot recall his day, this too has been happening. I know I am looking for things but these things ae there. Neuro Dr wants Mri repeated this month. One month earlier than planned due to his symptoms so they are on top of it, since we both are RN's and actually are hospice nurses we k now enough and have seen enough to be dangerous and extra scared, Neuro Dr is very concsiencous of this and does an excellent job of explianing things. Thank you so much for your entry, it is so frustrating to reach for help on here and have no rponses. God bless, us all!!

Do you have copies of the films? The reports? I would get another opinion. The increasing symptoms are, as you said, very troublesome. I wish you well and hope you find the right doctor.
