Pineal Gland Cyst

For the last 5 years I have been experiencing strange symptoms including blackouts, visual disturbances, severe migraine headaches, etc. Last year in June I blacked out and hit my head. My neighbor called 911 and at the ER they did a CAT Scan. I was told then that I had a pineal gland cyst 1.8 X 1.4 X 1.0 cm. I went to see my primary physician at Kaiser and I was reffered to a neurologist. He said it is not causing any problems. I continue to suffer these strange symptoms and it is getting hard to deal with. Yesterday I blacked out again. I experienced altered mental status, not knowing who my family was, and I was unable to see from my right eye. 911 was called again, because my mom feared I had a stroke. Luckily I did not but at the ER they again did a CAT scan and it showed that the csyt had grown to 1.9 X 1.5 X 1.2 cm. My question is, is this a dangerous size, is it really as common as my neurologist says, and could it be causing all of my symptoms. I don't know what else to do. Thank you, Vita

My duaghter has same symptoms and doctors say pineal cyst is incidental.  All these doctors are stupid.  Why can't they put 2+2 together???
