Thanks rumpled.
I am having a second nerve block done in a few weeks. If we get the same results then I will have the nerve ablation done. Part of why I've gone this route is that I suffer from a constant headache-UGH.
It happened to start right after my pituitary surgery that was done in 2006. Part of it was due to CSF leak, which I had repaired...so they say. Then there is this nerve issue. At least this procedure, if successful, is a viable option for some of us with surgery or tumor related headaches!
There are several pituitary patients being seen for similar issues at the Pain Center where I am getting treatment.
All I could find is that it comes back - but not when... *sigh*...
I hope it works for you. I had read about surgeries where they move the nerve and put teflon or something like that under it to make it not rub, but this sounds easier, even though it may have to be repeated.
I hope it helps! I also got nerve issues after my pit surgery - it was awful. I use meds to control it but it does not always work.
