Oh good.
Low end though may not be great... post op you may be recovering and can swing up, or you can be swinging down. So you do have to keep an eye on things and your symptoms.
I hope your doc is good!
I went and they did run the Cortisol and the growth hormone they just weren't in yet. I can see all my results online thank goodness. All my levels were in the normal range just at the low end. The doc said we'll run everything again in 3 months. I did get my cycle so the doc said my hormones are adjusting. I'm going to make a note and request the rest of these be ran. She really didn't seem to concerned about them though. She said she works with a lot of patients with pit tumors so I'm hoping that's true and she knows what she's doing. My insurance doesn't let me pick doctors so I'm kind of stuck.
It is odd they left off ACTH and cortisol, since you should be on those replacements. TSH and T4 panel are my most hated... TSH post op pit is useless - it should be low low low - and now they should be on to free T3 and Free T4 to see what your thyroid is really doing.
They also left off growth hormone - IGF-1 - which is commonly lost after surgery. My doc would have also dug deeper into other hormones, not just pituitary, but the other glands and electrolytes - which is critical at this point.
