Hello! I had the dates wrong my Dad went for his pre-radiation consult and will start the treatments next week. Thankfully, they said he is a good candidate. Thanks for all of the info, God bless you!

I went through 34 radiation treatments. Keep some Aquaphor Lotion on hand to help with skin problems. If its anywhere close to the throat and he starts feeling a little pain in that area get the doctor to give him the miracle mouthwash. And make sure he eats 3 meals aday if he gets sick at his stomache get something from the doctor. He will be tired out from the treatments so have him take naps. If he has trouble sleeping get the doctor to prescribe sleeping pills. And if he starts losing to much weight get him some boost or what ever you think will taste best. And other than that just pray for his full recovery.

my dad was diagnosed in July with glioblastoma multiforme and has gone thru his radiation and just be sure to love and support him thru it he will be very weak right after it is done but will pull out in about 45 min or so and then the chemo he was on went fine while he was in radiation but now he is having many side effects from the temador and we were just told on Fri that his tumor is back in 2 places and he is now having seizures so it is a very hard hall and i wish you and your dad only the best and my prayers are with you I know how hard it is and the pain seems to never get better.please give my best to your father god bless ,Kim
