Ventricular Shunt Pain

by Maemaemae, Nov 02, 2009 12:51PM
I have Hydrocephalus, recently I underwent brain surgery, I had a ventricular shunt put into my body. Now I am experiencing minor headaches, a constant throbbing really. Is this normal? should I go and get a CT scan just to make sure the shunt isn't blocked... Please help.

Thank You,
Mae

Anytime you have a sudden change, go get it checked. Symptoms with a shunt can be a headache, or even stomach type issues - so go check it out.
