my sister had a tumor removed  from the brain 5 yrs ago  and she now has a lot of anger attact at anyone and everyone at the drop of the hat . she went to classes after her surgery and she says none of the thing that she has works for her . she has said she wishes she would have died on the table . She says she can not handle living like this anymore and she want to be dead im so afraid she may try to kill herself . She talked to her Dr and wants her to go on depression pill. she was on seizure pill after her surgery and does not want to be like that again . She said she was like a zombie and she could not drive . She is only 55 and does work but i'm afraid she will lose her job because she has they anger attact  at work. Please help Maggie

There are specialist neuro-pschologists that your doctor should refer you to after brain surgery...

It is different. I hope you have a support system and are okay.

i had my sugery 2yrs ago. i went threw the same thing . i still feel that way sometimes. i would get so angery my family was scared to talk to me at times. i still sometimes wish i had died on the table. the pain and feeling different after sugery is so hard to get over. i wished i had died on the table but inside i was happy to be alive. it gets so frustrating trying to be who you was before. you feel like before you had a reson to not be that person. but after sugery you just dont know if you can ever be that person again.i was put on aniexity meds and depression meds it helped . my family called them my happy meds.talk to your sis and support her this is a hard and lonely journey for anyone that has went threw this. this is just my experance and the feelings i had . i hope this helps
