black spot

my daughter had a mri today  they found a black spot  looked like a peanut  back of her head then to the right    her doc is gone for the week   so we were not told anything   except someone would call ..... what could it be

I am so sorry that your doc would go on vacation like this.
The best thing is to contact another doctor in the office and ask them to give you the results.
Absent that, contact the hospital and ask them for a copy of the report. It does take 24-48 hours to get a reading, and then they will fax or mail it to you usually.
I hope it is normal.
