craniotomy

I had a craniotomy four months ago and am back to work. They had to shave the top of my head. I have noticed that in the past few weeks my hair has been falling out in handfulls. WIll I loose all my hair.

What was the surgery for and have your hormones been tested since the surgery?

Usually hair loss is related to hormones. I am giving you a link to another topic that may be similar, but I cannot tell as you do not list any tests... but you should go back and get tests... I hope you can get this resolved!

hi erin, you had a crainotomy 4mnts ago and back to work!! i had a crainotomy 2yrs ago . i had the top and left side shaved. my surgen had left all the blood in my hair . when the bandages came off it was awful. i had so much blood in my hair ,it was so matted i had to shave it all. did your surgen leave your hair like mine?
