Oh that is a good name!
Your hormones are took a beating - so when they are off, you are tired. Between the surgery and the hormones, you are going to be off. It will take some adjustment in meds after a while, but yeah, it is so much better after surgery but you have to understand that your hormones were super off and the body now has to adjust to not having the extra load!
It took a while to get sick, it takes a while to get better.
Rumpled
I got the bad smell up in my nose/headaches and went back for a third debridement with ENT doc and she got out the rest of the huge scabs (which we've fondly begun calling nasal slugs.) I feel 100% better now. I'd say at 7 weeks post op I get an occasional headache/tiredness and still can't sleep on my side yet as I still get head pressure that wakes me up. Doc says all in good time. Want to assure others out there not to be afraid of surgery. I'm better off having had it and it does get better.
Yes... they are... it is a sign of healing. No one ever tells you.
Thanks Rumpled, dr never called back. It was just so shocking that something that big was still up there at this point.
The giant scabs are a sign you are healing and unless you did something you were not supposed too. They are horrible - and surprising.
As long are you are permitted Neti pot, then you are ok.
