Cushing's does interfere with the thyroid but I have to ask - why is the doctor not testing cortisol in all forms - blood urine and saliva, as well as the pituitary hormones, and all the hormones, just T4?

A thyroid scan is not testing for Cushing's. It is testing for thyroid. I had both thyroid issues - lots of them - and Cushing's disease.

She needs testing on different hormones - cortisol, ACTH being paramount. They would want to look at her pituitary and her adrenals, not her thyroid.
