increased headaches

Hey guys,
I just am feeling very emotional today... need some support. :-(

I have been expereiencing increased frequency and intensity from headaches (daily, today is really bad).  Also my memory seems very foggy.  I get easily distracted and can't seem to recall things like what day it is, or if I have completed a task.  This is very odd as my memory is normally tact sharp and very vivid with details.

I am sortof freaking out.

Just to recap for those of you that don't know.  I have a presumed pituitary tumor.  Not seen on first MRI, but prolactin and other tests point that direction.  I have been on Dostinex for 5 months.

I would call the doctor and tell him about the change.

no blood tests recently, but I will be going this upcoming week for another full round.  the fogginess is more so during the headaches, but it's pretty typical every day lately.

Have you had any blood tests recently?
I feel for you.. I get more headaches when the weather changes and they are awful.
Is the foggy during the headache? If so, I would just take it easy - hard to function in pain.
I feel for you.

Hi Sarah -

I hope you are feeling a bit better by now. I totally understand about memory being foggy. I shared recently about putting the jelly in the microwave and blaming my partner. I also went into the fridge to get some juice and found my bag of chips in there. I had just had them and did not remember putting them there. My memory as of late has been getting a bit worse as well. I know how unsettling it can be to have a sharp memory and have it start to decline. Unfortunately, I have no idea what is causing it or how to stop it. It just seems to come in episodes.

One thing to note is that it does increase along with my headaches or the sharp shooting pains I have.

Have you mentioned this to your doctor? I haven't looked at a list of symptoms lately but I believe foggy memory and lack of concentration are symptoms.

What I do when I know I'm in a forgetful cycle is I write things down which definitely helps keep me on task...cause I'm spending less time trying to figure out what I was doing. And I let my partner know so that compassion, support and understanding is available. And if you can reduce your stress...when I'm stressed it seems to increase.

Hope some of that helps. Keeps us posted and hugs.
