From my experiance, when i was a child and suffered from the pituitary tumour the biggest obstacle to treatment and diagnosis of the problem was our family gp. All sort of other explanations were made up by him in response to the symtoms my parents gave him.Fact is most gpps have no clue about tumours. Go to a hospital and see a consultant. Forget going to Gps.

Just go to an opticians and they will can confirm if something is abnormal or not. The pituitary gland is near the optic nerve and any excess growth may be picked up. When as a child, with my fisrt tumour. All a doctor did was look in my eyes and she confirmed I had a tumour. ,

When I had my second tumour recently I did put on weight and I did experiance dizzy spells. Your weight gain  may be due to a low thyroid level so you need to see an endocrinologist. In your blood tests did they check your thyroid levels?

You should... find another doctor!

You have a pituitary tumor. It can be treated, and it should be treated now, not watched. Get copies of all your tests, your reports and your MRI and find a neuro-endo (one who treats pituitary disorders) and get on the medications that will lower your prolaction as well as the other hormones that you may need. You need to get all your hormones checked, as well as get constant monitoring.

You may also need to see any eye doctor as well.
