Fluorescence in situ Hybridization or FISH is a type of diagnostic test involving DNA hybridization.  It is simple, fast, and reliable procedure.  Peripheral blood cells, cultured cell lines, bone marrow cells, paraffin-embedded tissue sections, and frozen tissues are the specimens that can be used for FISH analysis.
