POLY MVA

I RAN ACROSS THIS PRODUCT CALLED POLY MVA AND I WAS VERY FASCINATED BY ITS CLAIMS OF BEING ABLE TO OXYGENATE THE BODY VIA THE MITOCHONDRIA USING PALLADIUM AMONGST OTHER CLAIMS.  I BELIEVE THAT IT HAS JUST BECAME FDA APPROVED BUT IT IS A SUPPLEMENT, THEREFORE NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE. A LOCAL DOC IN TOWN SUGGESTED THAT I TAKE IT WITH MY CHEMO TO HELP COPE WITH THE SIDE EFFECTS BETTER AND INSURE A CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH AFTER THERAPY IS OVER. MY 2 DIFFERENT ONC'S SAY THAT IS IS A FORM OF CHEMO AND I COULD TAKE IT 2 DAYS AFTER THE INJECTIONS BUT THEY ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH IT NOR ARE THEY WILLING TO BECOME FAMILIAR WITH IT. WITH MY BACKGROUND STUDIES BEING THAT OF GENETICS I CAN'T GET THIS STUFF OUT OF MY HEAD.  THE TESTIMONIES ON THE SITE ARE VERY EMOTION DRIVEN AND I JUST WANT ANOTHER OPINION OF SOMEONE WHO IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE SITE. Supplements have no approved therapeutic claims.  In other words, you may be better of taking nothing. For the medical field, testimonies are the lowest form of evidence and as far as I'm concerned, these are "hearsay".   From it's proposed mechanism of oxygenation, etc., I believe that this might interfere with your formal chemotherapy.  In today's corporate world, people will really do anything to make a sale.  Caution and discernment is strongly advised.   Regards.

Paul, yes your absolutely right about corporate world and making sales. Your entire Pharmaceutical driven career is based on this very corrupt system. Its so big you can't even notice how corrupt it really is, all the while making tiny nutraceutical companies look like bad guys. its not enough it has the AMA, FDA, Med schools and journals not to mention the media on its side propogating its false dogma and closemindedness.  profits, disease management and creation are the name of the game in "disease-care" and Doctors like you are simple pawns. SAD.

Don't listen to nay-sayers.... try anything that is out there... you will know by how you feel... listen to your body... it will tell you what you need to know.  I have used PMVA on myself and my dogs.  I like it.

Figures... comes from an MD..what are your great idea?  Breast removal and bombard the body with chemicals so toxic they nearly kill the patient!!  Brilliant!  For you to shoot down POLY MVA without even knowing what it is...never reading about it..nothing... is exactly the problem with your ilk.... ignorance is bliss.... you don't cure anything... cancer rates are through the roof... but lets shoot down everything else in the mean time...again.. Brilliant!   Where is the scientist in you?  Where is your humanity?
I say GO FOR IT... you have NOTHING to loose and everything to gain.

I have been taking Poly MVA for three years after treatment for Hodgkins disease. After completing chemo and radiation my six month PET scan indicated three slightly enlarged lymphnodes and they told me I either had another kind of Lymphoma or the Hodgins was back. They suggested exploratory surgery to harvest the nodes followed by either a new treatment if the lymphoma was not Hodgkins or a stem cell transplant if it was recurring Hodgkins. Because I felt healthy at the time I, refused any treatements or surgury and we agreed to three month scans to monitor the nodes. I started taking Poly MVA each day firstly at the 4 tsp dossage and my first scan showed no growth of the nodes. After a year of no changes to the nodes I take Poly MVA as a supliment and after four scans with no signs of and disease progression. I cannot say for sure that the Poly MVA has stopped or curred the Lymphoma but my doctor has said my case is most peculiar and he has also stated he stays away from PET scans these days as they show too many false positives. It's true that Poly MVA is not cheap but neither is a three million dollar PET scanner that apparantly shows false positives. I am not advocating Poly MVA or anything else over tratitional medical treatments but I am saying it appears to have helped me in my recovery both physically and psycologically from the Hodgkins and if it is a factor at keeping the wolves from the door it has been worth every penny. Lets face it, if I told you I have a cancer treatment that will cost a few thousand dollars, will make you feel like ****, will destroy your immune system, do damage to your circulatory system and make your hair fall out, works about 40% of the time and may cause a different cancer down the road, would you buy it?
I made a decision that Poly MVA could not hurt and in my opinion it has helped, because it made me feel I was in control and it seemed to give me great energy, in conjunction with dietary changes and exercise and when I did the math it really was not any more expensive than B-12 shots or Essiac tea. So I say do what empowers you and don't waste any time listening to those who knock down your decisions. When it is their life on the line they may be inclined to be more research orienteted and less judgemental. Just remember, a bullet proof vest is useless, heavy, hot and pointless unless you are being shot at, but if you were being shot at, wouldn,t it be nice to know you didn't take the advice to not waste you money on one.
